gforge-ftp-proftpd software package provides collaborative development tool - FTP management (using ProFTPd), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gforge-ftp-proftpd
gforge-ftp-proftpd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gforge-ftp-proftpd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gforge-ftp-proftpd *
You will get with gforge-ftp-proftpd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
